    2/28/2011: March Volunteer Opportunities

We had a great month of February, harvesting over 14,500 pounds of delicious fruit with the help of over 100 volunteers. We have already harvested more fruit in the first two months of 2011 than all of last year.

Please help us continue to provide high quality, nutricious and delicious fruit to our partners at Sacramento Food Bank and Family Service, River City Food Bank and Rancho Cordova Food Locker amongst others. We cannot do it without you. We need volunteers to help pick fruit, lead groups of volunteers and coordinate harvests in their neighborhood. If you have a truck or van and would be willing to use it to transport fruit and/or harvest materials during an event, that is much needed support.
