    4/14/2011: April Harvest Events

In March we harvested over 6500 pounds of citrus, bringing our yearly total to a little over 27,000 pounds of fruit harvested and donated to local food assistance agencies.   This is only possible with the support of our amazing volunteers who generously volunteer their time, energy, good ideas, resources (like trucks to help transport fruit and harvesting materials) and “can do” attitudes.  Thank you!

We ask that volunteers pre-register for our harvest events, so we can do our best to coordinate the number of tree sites, group leaders and harvest materials with the number of volunteers.
