Green Corps Job Program

Soil Born Farm’s Green Corps Job Program aims to connect Sacramento youth facing diverse barriers to employment with hands-on training and work experiences that will lead them to higher education or employment in a Green Career pathway.

WHO? High school seniors in Sacramento County

WHAT? A unique job program that offers selected youth: direct work experience, career workshops, community service opportunities, and structured leadership development.

  • Work outdoors as part of team
  • Achieve 50 hours of Community Service Learning
  • Gain PAID work experience
  • Learn about college and green careers
  • Grow as a youth leader!

WHERE? Work takes place at Soil Born Farms American River Ranch (2140 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova) and in the South Sacramento area. Participants must be able to get to both areas independently, though work can be more heavily weighted in a youth's own neighborhood.
