What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?
CSA is a connection between a local farmer and the people who eat the
food the farm produces. The essence of the relationship is the mutual commitment:
The farm supplies families and individuals with fresh, local organic produce
and the people support the farm and share the inherent risks and potential
bounty. CSA allows people to rediscover and participate in a system of
food production and distribution that promotes healthy living, nurtures
the environment, and brings people together to share the simple pleasure
of living life in harmony with nature.
